Easter 2010

The Easter Bunny came yesterday and brought the kids some cool baskets.

Lucas' basket had Pooh dressed as Tigger or Tig as Lucas calls him also some candy eggs and a bunny and some peeps! Luke ate all their heads off!

Edward's basket had Stitch dressed for the Spring with a raincoat on and peeps, a bunny and some candy eggs.
Lucas wanting to eat Edward's peeps too!
Ed told me earlier that morning, "Mommy, I want the Easter Bunny to bring me a bunny...not a real one but a pretend one." He was sooo happy to find that he got a bunny in his basket. Mama knows her kids! giggles
Lucas showing off his bunny as well.

After we had dinner we went outside to look for Easter eggs that the Easter bunny hid outside our home.
Lucas did so good finding the eggs and placing them in his basket.

Lucas kept looking for more.

Ed found most of them. There was only 10 eggs to find. Guess next year the Easter Bunny will have to hide more.

Keep looking boys.

This was sooooo cute. Lucas thought he found an egg and he kept yelling to Daddy to help him pick it up cause he couldn't.

See the black circle its one of our sprinklers. He found more than one of these after this 1st one. Gary and I had a good laugh from this.

Still searching for eggs.

They found another sprinkler.
Ed was certain there were more eggs to find.

So was Lucas. I finally had to tell them we found all the eggs. Then we went inside and opened our eggs to find candy and each boy got a gold piece or a dollar coin. We then went to Walmart and dumped their piggy banks along with the Easter money as Ed called it and ended up with $10. We love to take their piggy banks up to Walmart's coin sorter when they are full which they were to see what treasures we can buy. The boys ended up getting 2 more Disney CARS to add to their collection. Ed told me that the Easter Bunny is very good cause he gave them toys, candy, money and everything! Guess he had a good Easter.
