Lucas searching for the marshmallow.

Where did it go? It disappeared!!

Just like the Tomb! Jesus has risen!! Lucas thought this was a magic trick!! Below is the recipe and the story you are to tell your kids if making these. They were yummy by the way!!

Jess' Resurrection Rolls

* 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
* 8 large marshmallows
* 1/4 cup melted butter
* 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
* 2 tablespoons white sugar

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Separate crescent rolls into individual triangles.
3. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar.
4. Dip a marshmallow into melted butter, then roll in sugar mixture.
Place marshmallow into the center of a dough triangle. Carefully wrap
the dough around the marshmallow. Pinch the seams together tightly
to seal in marshmallow as it melts. Place on a baking sheet. Repeat.
Take any extra cinnamon sugar mixture and add to remaining melted butter if any if not melt a
little more. Mix well. Using a pastry brush lightly brush the outside of the rolls.
5. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.

Frosting:

1 tsp vanilla extract
1 C of powder sugar
1 splash of milk, add more as needed.
After rolls have cooled a little drizzle frosting over in criss-cross motion with tiny spoon.

If you do this with your kids...the story goes. Jesus is the white marshmallow, pure, free of sin,
the cinnamon/sugar mixture is OUR sins, even some have the kids use toothpicks like nails on
the cross to roll Jesus(marshmallow) into our sins. After Jesus is all dirty with our sins we place
him into the Tomb(crescent rolls). Seal him up tightly. Place him into the oven to symbolize
his death. Open the tomb(crescent roll) after its cooled to see Jesus is no longer
in the tomb where we placed him. That's because he has RISEN, he is ALIVE!!
