Star Wars Weekends Week 4

 

The last week of Star Wars Weekends and the last time to use our passes till we renew them in August or September. Lucas loved being able to ride this speeder bike.

 Of course Edward had to ride it as well.

 Lucas just did not want to leave this!!

 

 Here I am in Tatooine in my Padme Amidala disguise costume that I re-imagined. No, I didn't gain weight this was a heavy sweater and it is tucked into my shorts! Was very hot on a 90 degree day that's why I wore the shorts with the tights!

 I even did my hair like hers well as close as possible as my hair is not that long!

 Here she is on the left so you can see how close my costume came to hers.

 I was high fived by 2 cast members who said what a great job I did remaking this costume. Also some random guy yelled "OMG its Padme Amidala!" He made my day as everyone turned to look at me in the park. I went to Salvation Army to find these pieces. I thought the sweater vest would be super easy to find. Turns out it was the hardest piece to find and they had NONE. The grey vest I used was a grey plus size tank top then I found a smaller tank in the same grey color (that was hard to do) and cut it up to use as the arm pieces.

 Here is my hair and try to look alike shot. I first tried this outfit with pants it was super, super hot. So I then took some black shorts and black tights paired with black sandals and it was cooler then the pants. I was also thankful I didn't find that sweater vest cause I would of been double sweater wearing sweaty hotness in 90 plus degrees of FL.

 I also purchase a passholder Star Tours pin $9 that says Padme in Aurebesh and her planet Naboo below her name. Everyone loved it! My hair took me alot of time.
