Mom's Disney World Visit

My Mother came to visit us on January 6th.  We wanted to treat her to WDW our other home. We went and as you see above Lucas got this FREE Mickey Mouse straw. I think its normally like 50 cents more but this has an awesome story. So we went to Columbia Harbour House a quick service restaurant we've yet to eat at. My goal is to eat everywhere at Disney at least once in my life! giggles. It's inside the Magic Kingdom Park. When we placed our order the lady asked Lucas if this was his 1st visit to WDW. He answered with, "No. I've been here like a million times." The lady said, "Wow, you're a lucky boy. Did you ever get a gift from Mickey Mouse for being here one million times?" Lucas said, "No." The lady then gave him this Mickey Mouse straw and announced to everyone this was this child's one millionth visit.

Of course Edward spoke up next to say, "Hey, me too!" So he also got a straw and it made their day. Magic always happens at the Magic Kingdom. Even for us that have been there one million times! giggles.

This fast service restaurant offers seafood. Lucas got chicken nuggets as normal. Edward got shrimp though.

Here was my shrimp . They were huge and juicy and very fresh tasting. 6 total. I got it without any sides did you see the above photo we had fries we went home with.

My beautiful Mother she is 56 turns 57 in June the day after Gary actually.

I got one of her so she had to snap one of me.

Next we were off to the Haunted Mansion which is directly across from where we ate.

Edward wasn't in the mood for photos.

Surprisingly, here is a great one of Gary.

I was naughty and took photos while on the ride.

My flash blinded them.

Next we went to show Mom the new Fantasyland expansion as she hadn't seen it yet. She was in awe and snapping photos and videos of The Little Mermaid ride.

Last we did Buzz Lightyear which I was upset to learn all the photos we used to take now have writing on it or somekind of image blocking it. No more riding and then taking pics afterward for Free. Boo, Disney boo to you.

This photo of Edward and Grandma is funny as they both were looking away from Disney's camera. We had a fun time. I wanted to go more then once but Mother said it was fine just going once. We ended the evening with fireworks and Starbucks. A special note:Walt Disney World will apparently be raising ticket prices this weekend, bringing one day tickets to $105 for Florida Residents, up from $99. Another year another price increase!
