Indian Corn Craft

My cousin who also home schools did this craft with her home school group. Below is the link for instructions.

http://www.craftprojectideas.com/index.php/how-to/seasonal-projects/thanksgiving-a-fall/1238-bubble-wrap-painting-indian-corn

So it basically goes like this. Bubble wrap a paper towel roll that is of course used up. Then pick your favorite colors and paint in rows. Then press or roll onto your paper. It ends up looking like corn!

I drew the templates as my printer cost $40 for ink! As much as we do crafts like this forget it! God gave me the talent to draw so I'm gonna use it. Lucas is seen here painting his on his own.

See how Edward presses it. We found pressing and rolling worked the best.

After your done painting you let them dry and then cut them out.

Edward wanted to show it was his and made me take a pic of his name.

After we cut them out then we assembled them. The husk are brown paper lunch bags cut up and crumbled.

Finished project!!

Wow, I love how these look. Every year we make turkeys it was so nice to do something different.

Edward's finished project.

I love how the boys always say take another one of me Mama!

So we displayed them inside on our front door this is how the pair look together.

My sweet boys so proud of their work.

Now go make some Indian Corn with your kids!

For those who have no idea what Indian Corn is. Here is the REAL thing. Get creative you could make this as an adult craft and really make it look awesome too.
