As you all know the boys are in Awanas. They earn badges for going to church, bringing their Bibles, and memorizing Bible verses. Here is Edward's badges and uniform.
Here is Lucas' badges and uniform.
My little one is so smart he is a wiz at memorizing his Bible verses. Currently he has two more jewels that are not pictured here!
So tonight was the last Awana store. The kids earn Awana dollars to spend in the store it usually opens every few months. They earn dollars by attending church, being good, being in uniform, and learning God's word. Look at load Lucas got. He had $111 Awana dollars.
Edward oh my sweet giving boy. He only had $51 Awana dollars and he spent most of it on Lucas. He saw a Ninja Turtle toy and a Dinosaur toy. He is older so his group shopped 1st and he wanted to bless his little brother.
Edward surprising Lucas with his finds. Edward kept them hidden in his bag until we got home and then surprised him. So sweet.
Edward still had a little money left over to get himself some candy, a frisbee (he's been wanting one of those) and a water toy slingshot.
Wow, so impressed what the church has taught my oldest. Giving is such a magical thing! Love it.
